Do you still love the idea of paper dolls?? I know I do...There is something so sweet and vintage about them...
Well, what about making one......Here's the plan..

*********************************************************************

Partners:

Connie~~tammyc
Beth~~ruthie218
Beth~~Jill Skane
fille de ferme~~buzzn bee
CindyLous~~coaloha

*********************************************************************

For this swap you will make a girl paper doll. Just one doll, approximatly 8 inches tall..
Then make 1 vintage, shabby chic, or farmgirl outfit for the doll.
Next you will make 1 ballgown for your doll...do a total of 2 outfits for the doll....
You can draw, cut out, or stamp the face for your doll. The doll need to be on cardstock, cereal box cardboard for the back of the doll or good heavy paper..and she need to stand....Remember your old paper doll with the tabs at the bottom to make her stand.
The outfits can be made from paper, fabric, ribbon, old hankies just however you choose to dress your doll.
Of course, do your best work.
One partner and you will contact your partner at the end of the signup.
Signup ends February 15th Mail out by March 10th
Have fun!!

Oh buzzn bee (aka Deborah) You are so precious!! If enough girls would be interested, I think we will do a fall or Halloween one...That will give us time to make the dolls...I found that was what took me the longest to come up with a doll form...You did a great job with Maddie's. Jill was my partner and she did me a Southern Belle dress with hat!! So cute all pink and loveliness!! I am so glad everyone had a fun time....Smiles, Beth

Maddie,
So glad you are enjoying Mary Rose. I had fun making her for you.
Also thanks for posting the pics. I appreciate it.

Carleen seems to enjoy living here. Her only complaint is that there
are no cute boys living close by. Guess I will have to maker her a
boyfriend. Maybe someday there could be a wedding in her future. LOL!

It is so much fun thinking up all of the possibilities. !!!!!

Sending hugs out to you and Mary Rose.

OK Gals :) I have a lot of pictures to share of my Mary Rose, that Debbie made for me. Now, I have to tell you, Debbie is such a creative, talented gal. She made Mary Rose a walk in closet, full of outfits & then she provided a teeny, tiny, tea set. Mary Rose has invited her new friend Colleen over for a spot of tea & to people watch from her scenic picture window ;) I took the pictures before Colleen arrived as not to make Carleen her sister jealous. Carleen is living with Debbie now :) Well here goes, I hope I do not blow up MJF, with all the uploads LOL

Hi Maddie, I know ya'll are having a wonderful time with the paper dolls...I amso pleased...I received some sweet and precious ones from Jill today when I got home from visiting my grandbabies. They will be moving to Monterey california the end of May so I have got to get in all the time I can with them. They will be there 2 years...Conrad is almost 3 and Jewell (Julie) is 9 months...

And Connie, I do hope you will feel better soon!! You are much to sweet to feel bad. My little granddaughter had pneumonia this last week. She felt so bad, but was feeling much better when I left. That sinus mess is awful...Is your weather crazy? We were up to 88 today here in Alabama. too hot, too soon...

and Peggy, Just jump in and do it....My efforts are a lot of trial and error!! never know what will come out but the fun was in the trying!! You do lovely dotee dolls...

Well you girls have a lovely night...I'm signing off tonight...Got a lot to do tomorrow catching up on swaps and such...Smiles

Oh you girls are so cute!! My DH just looks at me and shakes his head. He tells our friends that I use the glue gun more than my oven..Wouldnt it be nice if we could whip up dinner with a glue gun...
Tammy, sounds like you went to a wonderful place....I hope when the Lord calls me home, He puts me in the craft area and the Christmas decorating area...
Ya'll have a lovely night and the sweetest of dreams!! Smiles, Beth

Connie and Debbie....I just love you guys to pieces...you are so sweet! Connie, we have Michaels here too, but their scrapbooking section is not too great in our Michaels. We have a smaller craft store about 5 or 10 minutes from me called Richards...it is a little better than Michaels, but it never has what I want, which would be the complete line of something I like. It's handy for tape runners, ink, etc. Thank goodness I am fortunate to have Scrapbook Territory in Berkeley, about 1/2 an hour from me. It is the best store EVER! Although, I would like to visit Archivers...has anyone been there? I will check out Hobby Lobby online!

Hugs, Tammy
