I've started on couple of Dotee Dolls today. So excited! This is so much fun...never heard of these dolls..what fun we all are going to have. Cann't wait to see the out come of the farmgils Dotee Dolls.

I'll try today. I am going to whip her up a tiny apron, or a guitar, or a jeanskirt, and my Inuit girl needs beads. It kinda depends on what kind of Halloween hijinks we get into today.

Yesterday, I went all over-achiever, and made 1.5 Dotee Dolls. One is Inuit, one looks like Mary Jane, but might end up a country singer. Her tiny hat did not want to grow up to be steampunk anyway.

I've started a new thread for a Dotee Doll Nov Swap. Please sign up in that thread if you'd like to participate. It should be a fairly easy swap, just use whatever scraps you have on hand to make the doll. I'm really looking forward to this swap!

I think people hang them up like a clothesline or garland. Someone made me a couple small ones with pins to wear.

one question tho--what does one DO with a dotee doll once thsy have it in their possession????

I don't think the face would have to be felt, seems like these little dolls could be made pretty much out of anything you can think of. I can give hosting a swap a try, I have time and am willing to make more than one! Do I post it in this same thread or start another thread to announce the swap?

Does anyone know if a felt face is required to be considered a dotee doll? Felt is the only thing I don't have.
