Dear Secret Sister Angel,
I recieved your special package today. Its wonderful! I love fall and Halloween. The colors are wonderful. I have a long counter top, backed by a mirror in my dining room. It looks great stretched out there and I will be adding some of my favorite fall decorations along with it. Thanks for taking the time to make me feel special. Your are truly SPECIAL!!

Sylvia, I got the ribbons at Joann's Fabric--just stumbled onto them and thought they looked fun! Potlatch is about 30 minutes from Mary Jane herself. Although, I admit, I have never been there!
I had a great time with this--thank you to everyone who put out the effort to make it happen!!!!

Thank Kayla from Idaho for being my secret sister. I got your box when I got back from a short trip yesterday. I was needing another photo storage box, so the fact that you packed my goodies in one was a wonderful treat. The taffy is great-my hubby likes it too-I change where I store it so he doesnt eat too much:) I LOVE the flowered strapping tape-this will be so much fum to use when sending farmgirl mail. The self adhesive ribbon is something I haven't seen before, but I really like the 4 different patters you sent of it. I am sure I will find somewhere fun to use it all and then be wondering where to get more:)The bracelet is too cute and my students will love it that I got so many new bracelets this summer-you sent two and I bought myself at least one. Most intriguing was the T-Tapp brush for the CRT skin tightening system. I plan to give this a try and really hope it does some good. At 50-I have LOTS of skin to tighten.
My son was born in Idaho Falls Idaho, so Idaho holds a special placwe in our heart-we are not sure where Potlatch is. Gotta get out our atlas and look that up.

Cheryl...so sorry to hear about your health issues Farmgirl. But your post of informing all of us is so appreciated. It is when
people completely fall off the radar and never let anybody know what is going on with them...that is so frustrating. Obviously your
health is your top priority and we all get that! So, take care of yourself and and we will keep you in our prayers.

I am so sorry that I had to just kind of drop out of sight for awhile. The last few months have been unusually difficult for many reasons, but the main one has been my health.
As most “farm sisters”, I’ve always been used to “over-loading” my boat and still being able to stay afloat on the sea of life. However, this time that type of planning didn’t workout too well for me.
I started feeling “different” mid spring, but didn’t think much of it, thinking I would snap out of it. I continued to feel worse and just couldn’t get things together, feeling more sluggish, overwhelmed, wanting to sleep and not being able to, etc. Then I noticed I was gaining weight, which is unusual for me during the summer….there is just too much to do outside.
To make a long story short, I finally went to the doctor and three weeks ago was told I was on the verge of congestive heart failure. Needless to say, lifestyle changes have been the top priority the last few weeks! I am on medication, which I hate, but for now it is necessary. In the last 8 days alone, I’ve lost 11 pounds of water.
I just wanted you to know, my lack of coming here, posting, and following through on some things was not intentional. I just couldn’t.
In order to make sure everyone sees this, I am going to copy and paste this in each forum where I signed up to be a part of the group.
I also want you to know, I will follow through, although I may be a little slow. (Each day is its own challenge, but things are beginning to turn around.)
To my secret sister ~ I will get you your reveal package to you! Please don’t give up and know, I will try to make it special, since you have been so patient and kind
To Janice (farmgirl 2519), who was my secret sister ~ YES, I rec’d the package with the black & white note pad, teas, soap and other goodies! As a matter of fact, I had to fight with my oldest two “grandchicks” in order to keep the note pad!!! *smile* We all loved it…but it is mine!!!
Your “reveal” package is AWESOME!!! I love everything and everything is something I will use!!! I could not believe the gloves! They are wonderful! I am crazy about the Burt’s Bees lotion. It feels so soft and creamy …..well, it makes me feel more soft and creamy. hahaha The stationery is lovely and I will definitely use!.....Really, everything, each item is more than appreciated!
I loved hearing about your lovely family and learning more about you! Please don’t be concerned that you did not send something every couple of weeks. Life has away of getting busy and challenging, as I well know! But, I need you to email me your address so I can write. ;)
Postcard sisters ~ I should be able to mail my postcards within the next week or so! I have loved hearing from each of you and *seeing* where you live. We will be using the postcards I rec’d as part of our homeschool program this fall. They will make geography much more special as we study the different states.
I would love being *family* penpals with other homeschooling families around the country! Just an idea, that would be an awesome experience as well as make geography/social studies come alive…….NO pressure though…..one letter each semester, would be welcomed…or each week. If several are interested, maybe we could do a “round robin” type newsletter……Let me know.
C.J. ~ everything you sent with my apron was special. You are one of a kind, girl, and I really appreciate you friendship. I really don’t know how you do all that do!!! So happy your Wild West trip was so much fun! I tried to check and read on your blog every once in a while to keep up!
I am sure I have probably missed others (or something), but for now I am going to post this, while I can.
Praying you all are beginning to see some cooler temperatures and get the kind of weather you need.

Oh My Goodness...I just got the coolest box ever from my Secret Sister. Did you sneak into my house or what??? I think you know me
even better than my real sister does! I Love everything with a capital "L". I sat right down and started reading the book.
The first chapter is Awesome...I know I am going to love it. You said that it was one of you favorites and now I see why. This
box has totally blown me away!! And she said it isn't even the Reveal Gift...that is still coming. Wowsie! :+) I have absolutely
flipped over everything you have sent me. I believe that you are spoiling me rotten!(can you smell me now?) LOL And
You are by far...the Best Secret Sister Ever!!!
In all honesty the last two days have been sort of ho-hum days...nothing seriously wrong...just in a blue funk but this RED MUG BOX has more than brightened my day...it has elevated it to a New Level of Gratitude! Thank You So Very Much Dear Heart!
I think in the back of my mind I am dreading a trip home (to Spokane) in a week and a half. It will probably be the last time I will
see my little sister who is dying and my first Mother-In-Love who is also dying. These are going to be the hardest of partings for me...even though I have already lost my brother and my dad. One good thought is that we will ALL meet on the other-side and I have that

I'm your secret sister, I mailed your reveal gift on Friday, you should be receiving it either today or tomorrow. Sorry I only sent it last week I've been extremely busy this summer. I work in fashion in nyc and am currently working on our busiest season, spring, for 2012; so I am never home. I included a card in your package, my address is on the return label. Sorry I'm just posting this quick so you know your package was sent otherwise I'd write more.

A great book to read, herbel tea, a lovely heart sachet, seeds, ribbon, yarn, knitting needles, body spray and a beautiful candle and a wonderful note! I was going to buy a new lunch bag to take my lunch in this year and now I don't have to because I have a nice new one already. I LOVE the candle. I thank you for being so sweet and thoughtful! Thank you so much for being such a wonderful secret sister! Every one of your packages brought a smile to my face for each and every one I received. I received your final package yesterday and of course I was smiling when I saw it on my front porch, while I opened it, and while I read your card.
I love love LOVE the yankee candles, especially the Honeysucle scent! Since I've only begun the landcaping of my new home this spring, I don't have any honeysucle growing yet, so I'm so excited and can't wait to burn it!
I'm not a religious person, however I did consider having the Corinthians read during my ceremony, its very beautiful.
Thank you for being so caring and thoughtful, I truly appreciate everything that you have given me (including the smiles). You're a very beautiful person!

I am so excited to find out who my Secret Sister is as I have not heard from her yet. Certainly hope nothing is wrong as she was such a wonderful Secret Sister and I want to thank her for all the wonderful treasures she always sent me.
Hope to hear from her soon and I will pray all is well with her and her family. Every time I hear my chimes outside my door I think of you and what an angel she has been to me.

LADIES...many of you have not revealed yourself to your Secret Siser. It is past the Reveal Week but want you to still send out a card and gift to your SECRET SISTER. Thank you for being my secret sister. My husband said your package arrived on Monday while I was out of town. I love the beautiful cups, saucers, Christmas napkin rings and bouquet of flowers. Since I'm a vintage nut and Christmas fanatic everything was just perfect.
I would love to hear more about your tea cottage business and farm. You wrote that you have peacocks and greyhounds, that sounds like an interesting combination. I've always wanted peacocks, but I'm not sure my dogs would agree.

Thank you soooooo much Juli for being my secret sister! I received your package on Monday and WOW!!! What a treat! I think everything is handmade--a beautiful apron, (how did you know mine was ratty and disgusting?), dish scrubbers, dishrag, (those are all disgusting too) and lavender sachet, and absolutely beautiful embroidery tea towel of a butterfly and flowers! I love everything so much!!!
To my secret sister--your package is going out today. I've been stalled from getting to town to find a few more things I wanted, but decided to send it as is. I sure enjoyed doing this!

Dear Secret Sister, I can not tell you how much I appreciated your package this week. My mom was visiting and broke her hip and has had to undergo a replacement, so when I came home from the hospital on Thursday and found your package it was truely like a gift from heaven. Feeling the farmgirl love and knowing that all I had to do was ask and a virtual hug would be received. The book has been traveling to the hospital with me, the recipe cards are very much needed, the tea is just what I need when I get home and I soooo look forward to making the pattern you sent. Thank You so much and I look forward to finding out who my sweet angel is.
