So I head back to work tomorrow which means the end of my prolific posting for a while, and I was thinking about my favorite thing to get from farmgirls, which is handwritten recipes and letters, so.....
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a recipe swap geared more like an RAOK swap, where everyone sends to everyone. There would be a couple requirements, like you would need to include a (preferably) handwritten note about the recipe - could be where you got the recipe from or a story about a time you made it.
Also I would keep the list pretty small, maybe do sets of 10 farmgirls sending to each other, in order to keep it from being overwhelming.
Any interest?
Okay - today, March 30th, I sent out the details and address lists for the swap. I am looking forward to this, hope y'all have fun:)

Okay - and I apologize to no end to those of you who were signed up for the "july swap". It has just been a heck of a month and right when I thought I was getting it together the computer went down and then I tore a muscle in my calf while camping so I've been down for the count for a couple days. I will try this again for an August swap - thanks for your patience!!

Amy Grace-Thanks so much for the recipes for the June swap! They look delicious and can't wait to try them. I am always looking for new recipes for chocolate and zucchini!! I have mailed mine but do apologize as I was late getting them out.

Jill - they do need to be handwritten, family favorite recipes with a handwritten note about the recipe. If you would still like in e-mail me with your name/address etc.

Ladies I am so sorry I haven't gotten things together. I am dealing with an attack of summer slowness and am just not functioning on my normal "get 'er done" schedule. To try and shake this I am going to send the swap info out by mail (change is good right?) and this round will cover end of July and August.

Sorry I missed out on that!!! I am interested in swapping some recipes too. I have a great recipe for "Vinegar Pie" ever heard of it? Yummy!! Also known as depression pie. I also have a great recipe for Pound cake and biscochitos ( spanish anise cookies that we all make here where I live) OLD recipes!! Would love to even see how you could decorate or "alter" your recipe card... any takers??? (kimrael@yahoo.com)

I know Diana - I get confused myself....I'm thinking just let me know each month if you want to be in the next month's swap. I have everybody's addresses so you don't need to resend them if you sign up again.
