I bartered with Julie (treelady) and she sent me a wonderful extra package for my baby! Thank you so much, Julie. We love the nice card, homemade bibs, and books. You are so sweet and thoughtful. Our little guy thanks you, too! I read him the Peek-a-baby book when I got home from work today. :)

I just returned from being gone all weekend and found a fun spring envelope in my mailbox. Thank you, Annie, for the beautiful thank you note. You have such great stationary! I think pieces of the envelope may make it into a future piece of mail art.

What a wonderful surprise I had when I picked up our mail today. There was a package from Anne (annemary). To my delight there was a skein of Fun Fur in the most delightful color of Limeade (already know I'll make a skinny scarf out of it); a seed packet of Moss Roses which are an all time fav of mine and dearly hope they grown this high up in the mountains; and a darling monogramed journal with a pretty pink "A" on the front. Thank you so much for the amazing package. I dearly love each and every item. You are a very thoughtful person.

I was delighted to receive a package with "The Tenth Circle" by Jodi Picoult. I love her books, have read 5 already and this is one I wanted to get to. I'm so glad dianaw123 was thinning out her books and passed this one on! And what a good example! Imagine how surprised I was that I too have been working on sorting and letting go of good stuff that someone else would enjoy and have a box for Goodwill and for a local scholarship booksale. Somehow I didn't think of gifting the wonderful MJF ladies. Thanks so much Diana!

A few days ago I got a delightful RAOK package from Lilaclady (Janet).
What a lovely surprise. There were 3 great handmade dishcloths, I started using handmade ones when I first came to MJF and now I don't use any other kind. There were 3 handmade cards, so beautiful they should be framed. One is going out tomorrow to a dear friend whose dad is very ill. There were also a couple of cool hat pins. Welcome to MJF, Janet.

Anna,

I received your wonderful package on Friday! My girlfriend stopped by to drop off a birthday gift and checked my mail for me, she remarked that the envelope was really fun. Little did she know everything inside of it was fun, too! Thank you!!!

Paris, AMAZING, wowzers, and how special (and spoiled) I feel to have a beautiful apron from your trip. I put it on and my husband told me it was beautiful. And yes, most of my girlish figure is back, I lost the baby weight within a week of having Orin, but I still have extra pounds to lose from before, hehe.

I also love the home made envelopes, you've inspired me. Which Eric Carle book is the one envelope from? I think we need to get it for our little guy.

I'll send more in an e-mail. Thank you so much for your great surprise!

Janet,

That is beautiful! I looked up information after you told me what it was, it looks like a lot of fun (although it may require more patience than I have hehe!). Thank you for sharing!

Annemary, the little paper flower is called Floral Punch Art. I make tons of them. I guess I have to figure out how to attach a picture here.

Dear Janet (lilaclady),

Thank you SOOO much for the lovely surprise I received in my front porch today! I had already checked my mail, and when I peeked out later, there was a package on my porch. How fun!

Everything is amazing, and wow were there a lot of things in that box! I only use home made dish cloths and have been getting low (how did you know?), and I love the scrubbie, I've seen them but have never used them. Also, the home made cards are great, did you make them? I love the flower too! I just saw some paper flowers at a shop and was wondering how people made them.
I love dark chocolate and the ME stickers and gift cards and flower notebook are so cute (and springy!). The hanging pocket is perfect for my front porch, I'll find something fun to put in it. And the little cookie cutters will be fun to play with!

Wow again, you made my week!! Thank you so much for thinking of me and sending me such a wonderful box full of fun things.

Today I received a lovely box of goodies from Lisa H. in OR! She sent me a pair of adorable crocheted beasties - a baby chick and a baby duck. They are soooo cute. And she also made me a lovely Spring scrapbook page. Things have been real hairy for me these past few weeks, so this brought a bright light into a rather dreary day. Thank you so much Lisa!!
