It will be a magnetic memo board or I may hang it in my master bedroom, and add pictures of dh and I with magnets. Maybe something purple? Or would red look better? Yellow? Emily Anna	Posted - Jun 14 2011 : 9:17:22 PM I like the idea of a red ribbon. I, too, love the blue/red color combo. You have red in the tray so I think the red ribbon will enhance that. If you use blue it might seem like too much maybe?? Love the tray and I hope you post some pics after it is all done and hung up!
texdane	Posted - Jun 14 2011 : 7:22:14 PM I like the yellow gingham idea or the black - that sounds interesting too. Other than that, I think I would do a ribbon in the turquoise. Really, I don't think you can go wrong. What kind of magnets will you use? I think you have an awesome idea, btw. Another idea if you don't want to do ribbon, is big velcro with the self-stick stuff. I bought my husband a round, vintage metal tin from the flea market one year that had an old 50's Danish drink ad on it. (He's from Denmark). He used velcro to hang it on the wall in the man-cave (basement), that way he can pull it off to use the tray itself. countrymommy85	Posted - Jun 14 2011 : 07:12:55 AM Personally I am partial to yellow (my favorite color is blue/green so figure that out) But I think a yellow ribbon would go well. Or like Jen says a green ribbon would work too because of that contrast. I guess it depends what the color is of the room you are hanging it in and what you want to bring out in the colors. What a great idea! edlund33	Posted - Jun 12 2011 : 06:58:54 AM Kristina - what a gorgeous tray! Is it hand painted? I agree with Tina, it would look really nice with a ribbon that matches the background color of the tray. That way the ribbon won't detract from the design or the photos. A wide satin ribbon, Tulle or netting would give it a soft touch to emphasize the round corners on the tray. oldbittyhen	Posted - Jun 05 2011 : 09:41:40 AM If you can find an exact color match, I think all the colors you spoke of would be fine, in my eye thou, I think the hanging ribbon should be the same color as the tray itself, so you don't take away from the flowers, also you might want to put a clear coat on it, to protect the tray from un-do wear and scratches...
