Posted - Nov 23 2013 : 6:14:52 PM I am so excited! I just applied for my first two badges! I made a list of one beginner badge from each category to get started. I started a notebook and wrote down the ones I chose to work on and what was required. Then I jumped in and did two!
The Cleaning Up - Shopping Green badge and the Each Other - Civic Heritage were the first two I have completed.
The Shopping green was pretty simple. I gathered several mesh tote bags I had gotten free and put them in my car. I had the opportunity to use them today when I went to the grocery store and Office Max!
For the Civic Heritage badge I went to the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, MI. I found the coolest "glamping" camper. Also some vintage sewing machines!
Off to work on more badges!
Bear hugs,
