I am sitting here with a silly grin on my face, looking at my 5th year certificate. I'm so thankful to have a man that understands how much this means to me and supports my wacky chicken coop plans, my piles of fabric, all of the canning jars, aprons, baskets full of seed packets and the rest of the usual things that go with being a farm girl. Likewise I'm thankful for MaryJane, for giving the perfect name and description to what I've always been in my heart. A farmgirl. If there could be such a name for the bohemian yet self sufficient simplicity seeking girl that I am, I think simply farmgirl covers it nicely. I take being a Sister with a humble joy, that I can share the love, happiness and sadness, fun and frustration creativity and calamity that is life with such beautiful women.

BIG HUGS!!!! (((((Hugs)))))!!!!!!!

Congratulations Annika! I love your posts and your style :) My sweetie spent the last couple days helping me install shelving in my spare bedroom that is transforming into my craft room. I should say I helped him. I was in charge of holding the level LOL We're so lucky having men who understand us! Of course they'd have a hard time stopping a farm girl but it sure is nice they are supportive. My husband has always called me his good looking country girl even though I wss living in a city when we met he knew I'd grown up on a farm. Finding Mary Jane's site has been such a wonderful thing for so many of us. But you're even luckier because you live close. You are indeed a very lucky woman!
