I would like to know how the Sisters display their badges.
Also if you keep your certificates in an Album.
I would love to show off my Merit Badges, as I am very proud of each one.

I have just joined so I do not have any badges yet, but I'm thinking rag quilt. With a badge in each square that I can just build on as I earn new badges.

Like Connie, I've just been doing swaps but I am thinking about starting work on badges in the new year. It reminds me of working on girls scout badges or 4H projects and It looks like a chance to learn some good skills. One of my goals is to become more "self-sufficent" and handy at doing things so this fits in great. I will be watching to see what everyone is doing.

I think merit badges would be fun to earn. It sort of reminds me of when I was a girl scout. My questions is, when a project requires that you make such and such, made from such and such book, is it mandatory to use the stated reference or can we make a similar pattern from another designer? I guess my question is, how flexible are the projects? Thank you for taking the time to answer!

Good question. I am embarassed to admit I've earned 3 badges in addition to the membership badge, which are just sitting around in my "Mary Jane binder" doing nothing. I haven't done anything with them yet because I wasn't sure how I wanted to display them-I don't have a jean jacket, I might put them on a bag. I'd love to hear what others are doing other than these two options. My certificates I have put in the plastic binder sleeves for protection and stored in a binder I use for all my Mary Jane information.

I hand embroidered each badge and sewed them onto a denim jacket. I decided to use buttons for designation on levels for each badge.

I don't have any yet , just the one for Joinning, But I thought about sewing a solid color tote bag, just for the Badges.
