I am pretty sure I can locate lighthouses, considering I'm not far from Lake Erie, but I cannot find a resource to photo document watchtowers, old minds etc. Can it be anything historic if I cannot locate anything but lighthouses? Thanks. I would appreciate any help.

Hi Kristina!
If you contact your state's tourism department, they can give you good information about historical sites in your area. Also, www.firelookout.org is a good resource to find watchtowers in your state.
If there aren't any watchtowers or mines in your area, other historic locations are perfectly fine to photograph for the Outstepping badge. Thanks for the question and good luck with your search. I can't wait to see what you find!
