Posted - Apr 27 2011 : 1:07:32 PM I actually left off part of my comments that were important to my submission, and I see no really good way to communicate it to "henquarters". So, I will just say it here, and if anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it! I am so forgetful sometimes! Okay, so I did the "What's Your Beef?" beginner badge and forgot to comment on how my research will/will not influence my choices on purchasing/eating grassfed vs. corporate raised meat. My comment is that we (my family and extended family) all raise several different species and we all grassfeed our livestock. We all use the same small slaughterhouse/butcher/packer that we know personally and are humane. Then, when we get our meat back ready for the freezer, we trade and share. I would never go back to commercial meat. Even the taste would be too big of a difference. I am proud of how our family raises livestock. And if I do ever end up running out of the meat in my freezer, I always look up local farmers and their meat. I just can't bring myself to go back to that commercial stuff! Anyhow, I hope someone can help me out on how to pass this on to where it should go...Thanks again,
Stephanie Farmgirl Sister #2920
