Posted - Jun 16 2011 : 12:41:52 PM Has anyone ever thought about having a badge dealing with service done for children and their families in 3rd world countries? Many people are involved on the home front with sponsoring a child, and some people serve as volunteers throughout the world. An outreach badge that ran the list of possibilities in this area would be awesome. |

Our only constraint is it has to be a phrase short enough to fit on the Merit Badge certificates.

You can learn this by visiting the Web site: http://www.wilton.com/decorating/ *Using the same Web site above, study and learn all categories under “Decorating Cakes.” -or you can read a Wilton Cake Decorating Beginner’s Guide (Step-by-Step Instructions)or take a cake decorating class.

Expert: *Enter a decorated cake in the local fair or donate one for a cake auction. or *Bake and frost a cake for a chapter member’s birthday, family member or friend. or *Volunteer to provide a decorated cake for an event.

The girls helped me with this, and of course it's just an idea. There are so many possibilities for this type of badge.
