so if you are already an expert at some of these items, do you have to apply for the beginners and intermediates badges?

I think a good way to start from the beginning if you are already an expert in the requirements, is maybe showing another person how to do the beginning work of the badge ( a child in your house or a friend perhaps?) or even just rethinking what you are already doing. If you are already doing the max, then apply for the badges in sequential order by explaining what you have been doing and for how long. In my opinion, the actions of the badge are important, but even more so is the spirit behind the badge.

Hi, from what I've read you have to start from the beginning. I guess it's a good way to learn it all over again.
