I think so!

I cut a few long toggle type buttons off of an old coat I bought at Salvation Army..it's not antique but the coat is several years old and the big long buttons are real wood. I felt like I had some new treasures! I can see myself doing the beginner and intermediate patches...I should show all of ya the 2 projects I just made..vests covered in buttons!

Glad the buttons all made it safely! BTW, in respose to some emails - nobody owes me a dime in return, I am glad to share these. I've been in a cranky funk lately and doing RAOK's always snap me out of it, so I'm probaly getting more out of this than you are.
Karen, I have a huge suitcase-sized trunk full of notecards and stationery collected over the years. Glad to hear that the duck card brought back a good memory to you.
I still have 6 buttons left, so if anyone happens to read this post in the future don't hesitate to email me for one.
Am off to the flea market in search of those elusive china and rubber buttons....

I wanted to say this again. I was very excited to receive my button last Saturday. I have been under the weather and my button brightened the day.

Thanks again.

Jennifer, thank you so much for the button! It came in the mail yesterday and is sitting right next to me now.

BTW my dad had duck cards exactly like yours. I came across them going through some of his old things. Don't know where he got them but it's a nice memory. And they're recyclable - good job, farmgirl!

God bless -
