I just wanted to share with you all about our Fay Day. I received a Mary Janes Farm newsletter via email yesterday and it told of a book titled Thunder Cake written by Patricia Polacco. It is about a young girl who overcomes her fear of thunder with the help of her wise grandmother. So I went to this website (attached) to learn more and braved the storm to Barnes&Noble to buy it. What a fun read for a stormy day and the sweet ending to my story is ... we got to bake and eat a cake! http://www.patriciapolacco.com/books/thundercake/thundercake_index.html. The timing could not have been more perfect. I hope you all had a good Fay Day, too. Your friend, Jennifer Now that is a farmgirl plowin' through! :)
