Sounds good, Sandra.

Yes, you can contact the chapter leaders directly- but all we (as chapter leaders) can do is then turn around and email Sunny :D

Jen Bove was running the Henhouses, but the operation just barely (like last week) switched to Sunny.

Thanks Alee....this has been going on for quite awhile now...I think I was just always talking to the wrong people. I did contact Deb about her chapter but it sounded like she had to contact the farm in turn. I did email Sunny so I'll wait and see what happens next week.

Hi Sandra-

Sunny is the one running the henhouses, so you need to email sunny@maryjanesfarm.org I know she is a bit swamped right now because she just took over that operation so she is learning quite a bit. She also answers all the phones, lines up the orders for the mail order food, sends out sisterhood memberships and probably more to boot! She is so sweet and a pleasure to chat with. I would suggest sending Sunny an email and I know she will be happy to get you all set up!

I am also anxiously waiting for my badge packet to arrive. I can not wait to proudly wear it (when it gets cooler) on my blue jean jacket. Is there any certain place to put the badge? Being a Girl Scout leader I know certain badges went certain places especially this being the official sister badge. Just wondering while I wait.

Rene....I keep trying to "get access" to a few of the Hen houses and have not had any luck. I emailed Iris yesterday but haven't heard anything. I wanted to join Bees without Borders (virtual it looks like) and the one that's run by Deb in the Mountains...forget the name. I wanted to get in on book discussion of Animal, Vegetable, Mineral which I just happen to be reading right now and Deb's is going to be doing a Crochet Along with lessons starting soon. Some I can't even read....it will state the number of posts and replies but when I go in it states there are none. If they need help and I can do it long distance I would be more than happy to volunteer my help. I'm pretty savvy with computers (B.S. in C.S) although even I have a hard time keeping up with technology since I retired but I would be more than willing to help out in whatever way I can regardless how menial. I know they are busy on the farm right now so I don't want to put any more pressure on them right now than they already have but when you/they have some time could you look into these issues for me? No rush.....trust me....I love taking my time nowadays and gardens and farms come first! They won't wait! Thanks Rene...don't want to add to anyones stress level though!

Hi Dawn, My packet took about ten days to arrive. Maybe a few more. I was really excited when it came though! The certificate is so cute!

Hi Julie,
I just returned from the farm and I can tell you things are a hopping! Sunny has graciously added this "little chore" to her already full plate~ so time is the best gift you can give her right now.. She is amazing and working at these just as fast as time will allow... on the upside of this... we are adding so many new gals so quickly that we will have a whole bunch of new "sista's"... how cool is that?...........

I am eager for you to get going to.. we are looking closely for those gals doing great things with earning thier badges.....and you will have a blast no doubt, I sure am...... anyway, I am sure you will get your packet any day.....

Hi Julie!

Yes, give the farm about 10 days. If yo do have any questions relating to your membership, sunny@maryjanesfarm.org will have the answer. She is so sweet and kind. Always pleasant to work with. I know she works hard to get them done as quickly as possible, but she is a jill-of-all-trades at the Farm and things can get quite busy out there.

My packet took about 10 days or so. If you are concerned you could try emailing the farm. All the merit badge guidelines are online so you are welcome to start right away if you like!!!!
