Yeah! I got my packet today too and my back issue bundle, apron issue, Outpost book AND "A is for Apron" and "Little Potholders" which I ordered from a book club! WHEW, I don't know where to start! First I'll get my patch done then I will need to dust off the old sewing machine and get busy on my first sewing patch. I know what everyone is getting for Christmas; apron's with matching potholders! ;O)

Farrah- This might answer your questions best:

Nadine- I LOVE the idea of a "Farmgirl Achievement Quilt" I think I am going to borrow your idea! I am going to start adorning my jean jacket with my badges, but doing a quilt sounds amazing too! I can't wait!

What extra do you get when you become a Farm Girl? Do y'all meet somewhere?

Blessings!

Thank you Alee, I might have to do that- because I want to wear one but it would also be so pretty on a wall quilt- thinking about printing the membership page on fabric to use in the quilt too..........

I got mine this week- so excited! I spent most of last night (until 2am or so) embroidering it- so much fun! Now I am wondering what to do next- I think I want to work it into a mini quilt-wallhangng where I pin it on and can put it on my jacket too............ still thinking about the idea.

Hey Desiree-

I'm reading all the back issues, too! I'm on number six I think ( the one with the dirty hands grasping the flowers). I also just finished the new book. I think everyone I know is sick of hearing about MaryJane this and MaryJane that!! Oh well, it is soooo fun to me to be involved in something with likeminded sisters!

Welcome, all, to the Sisterhood. When you get your badge embroidered or painted or what ever you do with it, post it in the show and tell section "Show us your logo patch" in this section! Just posted mine...

It took about a week or so for mine to show up... it will eventually! :) Welcome to the Sisterhood!

Congratulations! I am eagerly awaiting the packets for me and my daughter, too. I run to the mailbox every day and my heart goes pitter patter when I hear the UPS truck coming up the driveway. Can't wait to get started. My daughter, Edengirl, turns 12 next months and she is recruiting girlfriends to be Farmerettes. I have cleared a wall in my pantry for our Farmgirl stuff. I hope it comes before we go camping next week so we can embroider at camp and read all the back issues of the magazine that I ordered.

Hey girlfriend...I got mine awhile back too but was gone so it's just like I am starting with you! Let's keep in touch so we can tell each other what we are working on. I'm originally from IL and have been to your fair city when my son was in the navy there. The only thing I've done so far is print off everything and put it in a binder. I want to get a frame for my sisterhood picture..in fact...I have to run uptown in a minute and i may just stop at the Dollar General and get one!
Keep in touch! This is going to be so much fun!
