Posted - Apr 07 2008 : 12:58:18 PM to offer the Sisterhood membership fee to be paid $10 every 6 months or even quarterly?? I have some ladies wanting to join Artful Sisters but unfortunately the $20 at once is hendering them.
I know that $20 is a very fair price and they also feel that it is...that's not the problem... just brainstorming for a way to pull more ladies into the sisterhood area..
Alot of memberships will let you pay each quarter, semi-annually or annually.
I know this would create more manual work at your end keeping up with these renewals but you could also opt to setup a "subscription" account at Paypal the membership renewals would be automatic until a member said otherwise. So it would do away with your increase at your end...but as with everything..there is a Paypal fee to you so could figure in what that is cost would be to you and pass it on to the member for the convenience of paying out "little bites" of cash instead of one lump sum.
Thanks for considering…

Posted - Apr 07 2008 : 2:18:00 PM My chapter isn't really like the others...it'a about women networking through their creative side and what their biz's are offering..we all have enough activity on the forum and other groups to keep us busy with swaps, fundraising and other extra stuff to do.
Just hunting an option...Although your ideas are great ones that really isn't what I was looking for as a simple solution.
Thanks Alee

Posted - Apr 07 2008 : 1:38:00 PM Stephanie- MaryJane is out of town today, just wanted to let you know it might be a little while before she can respond.
Have you thought about doing some fund raising for your chapter? Maybe a bake sale or a workshop on how to make your own apron? Or maybe some other clever thing your chapter could do?
The way the Boy Scouts do it, is their popcorn sales and such help to pay their membership fees. And instead of having an individual fee there is a troop fee, so if one family pays 10 fees, other families don't have to etc etc. Maybe a Sister could loan another the $10 for a few months?
Just a few ideas until MaryJane can get back to you.
