Yes, you should be getting a confirmation page now- they added one last week.

Kim- I think you can apply without a picture. The farm will let you know if they need one for you to get your badge.

Can you apply without a picture of the project. I did apply but no pic. I have to figure that one out. I applied for beginner badge in knitting and crochet. both were dishcloths. kim

I got a short email from Carol saying she got them...I just clicked on the thing and then it went back to the blank form..so I think that is all you have to do...and they are in!

My dear sisters,
We saw your applications come through. Exciting stuff indeed!!!! We're finalizing the merit badge sketches and certificates today. They are Ca-UTE!!! But here's the deal. They are kept secret until you earn one. We thought that would help nudge you into earning all of the badges!

Now where is that tag post where I'm "it" for truth and tell. Phew, what a week it's been.

Don't re-submit them just yet. I am sure there will be a success page put up soon to let you know that it sucessfully submitted. Let me check on that though

How do you know that it went through? I filled it out and hit insert/update, but nothing happened. It just went to the blank application page again. Should I retry it?
PlumCreekMama Posted - Feb 13 2008 : 4:59:52 PM
Yay! I have been waiting for this not so patiently!

You can then go online and apply for it. After your application has been reviewed and approved, you will recieve an email from the farm that contains instructions on how to print out a transfer for the badge itself and your certificates.

Iron-on transfer paper is handy but not necessary. You can buy it at almost all craft stores. Otherwise, you can trace the design using a water soluble marker. Taping both the design and the fabric on a bright window makes a good "farmgirl light table!" This way earning the badges will be free, otherwise we would have had to pay for each and every badge and it would have gotten expensive for both the farm and us farmgirls!

Do we have to have these projects completed first? Like before we apply? How does it work?
