Posted - Dec 04 2007 : 4:32:13 PM When I was at Goodwill today I saw this beautiful little canister with the name "Red Hen Inn" on it! With a cute little picture of a red hen laying eggs in a basket. I will post pictures as soon as Nora goes down for a nap!

Posted - Dec 04 2007 : 6:32:49 PM Oh I love wing back chairs! There was a beautiful one today at goodwill with, actually, a beautiful tapestry fabric! I really wanted it, but I have no room for yet another chair in my house!! LOL

Posted - Dec 04 2007 : 6:23:06 PM My greatest find of late has been 4 wing back chairs. Not gorgeous, but very sturdy. One for $2.50, One for $12.50, and today two matching ones for just shy of $100.00. The first two have sage green damask chair covers over them that I found for $10 each. I have covered one of the chairs I found today with a green, cream, and tan print fabric I've had for a couple of years waiting in the wings for a project to be used on.
I'll hopefully get the other covered by the weekend. Someday I will get them all reupholstered. But they are quite cute and functional for now!
Lord, keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth! |
