Posted - Oct 27 2012 : 10:11:12 AM This is a book I don't normally read. I found myself drawn to because it is a woman's diary. It was wonderful surprise. It's based on the author's ancestors. Sarah Agnes Prine traveling with her husband to settle the Arizona territories during 1881 to 1901. What a amazes me is how these women craved out lives for themselves in such tough land. Sarah manages to change her baby daughters diaper and chase away buzzards and save the man she would wind up marrying. It was sheer joy to read this book. These is my words by Nancy E Turner. |
