I am thinking of trying the Aunt Dimity mystery series- does anyone else like them? Haven't read any, but in general like "cozy" mysteries.

Mary, I recently saw "Aunt Dimity and the Village Witch" at the library, picked it up, read it in a few days, and enjoyed it! The cover drew me in at first, and it was cozy and quaint, just what I was hoping for! I don't normally read series books out of order, so now that I've read the most recent, I have made myself start back at the beginning of the series. This weekend I finished the first book, "Aunt Dimity and the Duke." My library system is able to access books from across RI, so with any luck I won't have any trouble progressing through. I'm looking forward to reading more!

If you like cozy mysteries, I am also a fan of Joanne Fluke's series (listed on her website, www.murdershebaked.com), which are nice and light to read before bed and also include recipes; and I have almost finished Stephanie Barron's Jane Austen mystery series. Another historical fiction mystery series I've been reading is Tasha Alexander's Lady Emily series.

One of my favorites, also. They are definitely hard to find, even at the libraries.

I read one and loved it. I think one of my Christmas cookies recipes came from one of those books.

Thanks! There is a new-ish one I got from the library yesterday - Aunt Dimity and the Village Witch. Just started it and I think I am going to like the series! Thanks for the input!

Hi girls...my daughter loves them...but like you...she has a hard time finding them...Daughter has says she has a hard time putting it down once she gets started reading. That being said...hope you find and enjoy. Blessings
