I am happy to say that my son's first time to serve as crossbearer went very well - he walked so slowly and reverently that someone told me she thought our Priest would fall asleep - LOL.

We are really making progress in our readings! Monday is Job 8:1 to 24:25 and Tuesday is Job 25:1 to 41:34.

This is a great thing. As much bible study as I have done over the years, I have never read the bible through from front to back. Love reading about your doing it!

Good morning! The boys are going back to school today so I will have some quiet time to read on my lunch break today...hooray! I love having them home but it was too cold to send them out to play in the snow and the music from the wii was starting to wear a bit. The readings we are doing now are so new to me and even though I have been in Church all my life, I don't recall many of these stories. Is anyone else having that experience? It is making me a bit embarrassed to say that I have been a Christian for 50 years and never heard some of this. Today's reading is 2 Kings 4:38 to 2 Kings 15:26. Tomorrow's will be 2 Kings 15:27 to 25:30.

I'm still with you girls! I finished 2 Samuel over the weekend, now I'll get started on 1 Kings. This is quite an adventure staying so deep in the Word every day. I needed someone to get me disciplined beyond my short readings during my quiet time. Thank you Star!!

Breanna - God's Word IS a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I couldn't agree more!

Blessings to all y'all.

Wow, what a great goal! I am reading through the entire bible too, using the "Discipleship Journal Bible Reading Plan". God's Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

My mom received the Bible in 90 days for Christmas, and I think we'll be starting it as a family soon.
