Posted - Dec 17 2009 : 07:35:24 AM Have any of you read this? I have a copy from when I was little and a very old copy that I posted a picture of on my site. I don't think I have read it. So I was thinking I would read my Grandma's old copy from 1889. I read my other Children's books that I have when I was little but I don't recall reading this. So Now I will read the big girl copy.

Posted - Mar 15 2010 : 05:39:50 AM Eight Cousins was my favorite LMA book. Rose in Bloom is the sequel and it is good, too. Her books are so cozy good!

Posted - Mar 14 2010 : 08:33:58 AM i had a complete set of Louisa May Alcott when I was a young girl and read all of them over and over. They were one of my greatest treasures. When I moved away to college my mother donated them and I was heartbroken when I found out. I always look in thrift shop and used book stores for replacements . Michele

Posted - Dec 17 2009 : 6:55:00 PM It is an adorable book! I love it! :) It has a sequel too, but I can't remember the name of it right off hand. What fun! hugs Jess

Posted - Dec 17 2009 : 07:38:04 AM That's funny, Nancy, I'm reading it right now. I reorganized the library last week and found it. I didn't even know I had it!!! It's no Little Women or Little Men, but it's endearing, just the same.
