Posted - Aug 19 2009 : 06:39:22 AM I forgot how much I liked these until I got them out again yeaterday and looking at them. I posted two pictures, one showing the books and one showing how she hand writes them all. I can hardly write a letter let alone a book. Would have to have a very large eraser. Nancy Jo

Posted - Sep 02 2009 : 6:48:37 PM I love her cook books. I read as a book really. Her quotes and family stories make you feel like you are part of her inner circle of friends. She just loves life and all the good things in it. Her books make you smile and feel happy. I love that about her. Her Christmas book really is a treasure.

Posted - Aug 27 2009 : 07:31:00 AM Ummm, one would not think I am obsessed with Susan Branch would they? Books, stickers, pens, pencils, calendars, you name it.

When she had her store in Arroyo Grande, CA Ashley and I would drive up there frequently. It was soooo neat.

Have a good day!

Posted - Aug 24 2009 : 4:34:49 PM I have almost all of her books. I don't have the baby one as none of us have a use for it at this time. I'm now getting ready to order her new calendars 'cause I love them!!!! Her mini-calendar from this year is all about chocolate and so funny. I ordered most of her books from her site and they were all signed, which to me is cool. I can't wait to try some of the autumn recipes.

Posted - Aug 19 2009 : 07:27:54 AM I to just love her cookbooks. I bought "Heart of the Home" in 1992 and have given it as a gift so many times I've lost count. I have bought all her books since and will still curl up in the winter with a cup of hot cocoa and re read them. I am glad others have the gift of writing to bring us so much pleasure. Her recipe on Nasturtiums appetizer's taught me that we could eat flowers. LOL And then her Chicken Enchiladas have been a family for all these years.
What a nice memory to bring back this morning! Smiles, Melody June
