Posted - May 03 2009 : 7:54:49 PM I just picked up a copy of a book of jennifer Chiaverini, has anyone else read any of her books? Do I have to read them in order? Or can I just skip around? Thanks for any info Toni |

Posted - May 05 2009 : 09:37:37 AM Thanks Dutchy. They had four different books in my library in this series, so the one I got to read is called The Quilter's Legacy. I can't wait to get started!

Posted - May 04 2009 : 11:34:37 PM I LOVE all her books. I have them all and read them all in order, mostly. I only have to get her latest 2, but that will take a while, DUH!!
But you can read them "at random". Enjoy!!

Posted - May 04 2009 : 05:18:30 AM We have another thread about this series. It is quite popular with us farmgirls! I have read most of the books, but not in order. They are so popular at my library that it was impossible to read them in proper order. I didn't have any trouble piecing the story lines together. They are wonderful books and I am thrilled I stumbled in to them.

Posted - May 03 2009 : 8:26:57 PM I love all her Elm Creek Quilters series! I have read them "mostly" in order...the first few I didn't since it wasn't the way I found them. I don't think it matters too much either...but like Amy said it is a good idea to get the first one and get the history of the deal. I LOVE the sugarhouse quilt and some of the other historical ones.

Posted - May 03 2009 : 8:17:14 PM Toni - I have skipped around with them depending on which one was available at the library - didn't really seem to matter except that The Quiltmaker's Apprentice (think that's the title) gives you the background to the whole deal - I happened to find that one first. Other than that, I don't think it makes a big difference. Amy Grace
