The one thing that I took away from this book "It is never too late." If there is something you have always wanted to do or fences that need to be mended, it is never too late.

Posted - Jan 31 2008 : 06:44:25 AM I cried the whole way through it. It was very cathartic at the time. I had just lost my grandmother after caring for her for a year and my good friend was caring for her father who had been diagnosed with Hodgkins.
My friend's dad was a Doctor and was lovingly called "PaPa Doc". As awful as the disease was he said he was glad for it. It was because of the sickness that he sought out God and found a relationship with Him. He was thankful for his disease.....That blew me away!! He died in 2005.

Posted - Jan 29 2008 : 6:14:51 PM I work with a man at school who loves to read, so I gave him this book to take home. He came in the next day and said, "Within 5 pages I already had tears in my eyes!" He likes it a lot.

Posted - Jan 29 2008 : 07:24:36 AM A great book, and movie also. The author also wrote a book "For One More Day" or "Just One More Day" that was just on TV as a movie as well...about a man having the opportunity to spend one more day with his mother who passed away.
