If you haven't read this book then I would highly encourage you to do so. I know someone on here posted that it is a life changer and it certainly could be. The one thing that I took away from this book "It is never too late." If there is something you have always wanted to do or fences that need to be mended, it is never too late.

I thought it was a great book as well. I enjoyed reading it and found it very inspirational. It always amazes me how people cope with physical a pain and loss of abilities.
A great book, and movie also. The author also wrote a book "For One More Day" or "Just One More Day" that was just on TV as a movie as well...about a man having the opportunity to spend one more day with his mother who passed away.
I work with a man at school who loves to read, so I gave him this book to take home. He came in the next day and said, "Within 5 pages I already had tears in my eyes!" He likes it a lot.

I cried the whole way through it. It was very cathartic at the time. I had just lost my grandmother after caring for her for a year and my good friend was caring for her father who had been diagnosed with Hodgkins.
My friend's dad was a Doctor and was lovingly called "PaPa Doc". As awful as the disease was he said he was glad for it. It was because of the sickness that he sought out God and found a relationship with Him. He was thankful for his disease.....That blew me away!! He died in 2005.
Blessings Catherine
