Posted - Apr 04 2016 : 6:43:46 PM I just saw on Facebook that our own dear sweet Portia was killed a car accident this afternoon. I am shocked and saddened by this news. I would ask for you all to be praying for her family. They have not given out any details.

Posted - May 14 2016 : 5:28:12 PM So glad you were able to see her and share with her. Portia is in my thoughts often which in turn reminds to pray for her family. So important to hold one up in our prayers. They do make a difference.

Posted - May 14 2016 : 3:04:54 PM I wanted you all to know that I saw a Portia's daughter, Allie, today at our Bing-hen-ton city chicks farm girl meeting. She said the family is doing well, they have their times that are hard. I think it means a lot to them to know that they have a network of people that continue to pray for them. The Lord is very important to them.

Posted - Apr 07 2016 : 1:56:10 PM Kristi, the flowers are beautiful. This is heartbreaking news. My heart hurts for the family and I pray they have strength and comfort in the coming days. I didn't know her as long as most of you have. I had only started knowing her through a postcard swap.
