I want to thank everyone for the thoughts prayers and emails you have sent to me...Sweet Kitty passed away Saturday afternoon...no more suffering...now at peace...hopefully chasing butterflies:):):)This is the hardest time I have ever faced with a pet...the only house pet I have ever had...things are not the same here at home...but God is with me and my family...He will take care of all of the hurt and loss...please continue to remember us in your prayers...We plan on opening our home to another sweet kitty very soon...please pray that God sends us the one that needs the most love and care...a special thanks to Jenny(auntsmelly)she has been here with me every step of the way through this horrible loss...you are one special friend:)
I want to thank everyone for their prayers for my sweet kitty. Took him to the vet again today(Tuesday). Still has a little bit of a fever...got a new antibiotic...an oral type to be taken once daily and a type of kitty nourishment somewhat like Ensure for people. He hates the medicine but tolerates the food. He is drinking more thankfully. He has to go back to the kitty doctor next week. He does seem a bit better. I am thankful for every good sign. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. He has rested much of the day...but is breathing somewhat easier.
It's Sunday evening and he has not had an appetite or wanted water today. Feeding him through a syringe. Please continue to pray for him.
Please pray for my sweet kitty. For some reason he has a kinda fast and hard heart beat tonight. He has not had any health problems so pray that God puts everything back to normal for him.

Took my sweet Kitty to the vet today. He had a viral infection(described to me like someone having bronchitis)with a temp of 104.4(102 normal for cats)...sad to say he was also diagnosed with feline leukemia. The vet says he appears really healthy otherwise and prayerfully this can be managed with the right care. It is like a human having a low immune system...but she did give me great hope that everything will be OK. She says she has a cat with feline leukemia and she has had it for over 10 years and for the most part is healthy much of the time. He got IV fluids and an antibiotic shot that is good for 10 days. Says he should be up and about in 2 to 3 days. Please continue to pray for him. I love him so much.

Thanks to both of you for your thoughtfulness and encouragement...it's been 2 weeks ago today that I lost my Sweet Kitty...but I am already planning to get another one...I am sure it won't be long before the right bundle of fur comes to live with us...I love them so much and miss my Sweet Kitty everyday...but a heart and home full of love awaits a new sweet fur baby...my DH told me this morning that he still misses our Sweet Kitty...so touching...

Judy I am so sorry you lost your little kitty but I know when it is time you will bring home a new fur baby and it will bring you much pleasure with new little ways to win your heart, and it will know that you love it as much as the little fur baby loves you.

Thank you Nicole...the vet told me to clean everything with Clorox and clean my carpets well as the feline leukemia is highly contagious to other cats...so I am in the middle of getting all that done before I bring a new bundle of fur home...I am so excited about getting a new fur baby:):):)they are just the sweetest little things...even to the very end my Sweet Kitty would wag his little tail when I talked to him...he truly knew he was so loved:):):)

I agree. They are little angels. Good luck with finding a new little baby to love. Keep us posted on your search, and post a pic when you find your new friend. Your Sweet Kitty knew how much he was loved, and couldn't ask for more. I know he had a great life with you. Big hugs.

Thank you so much for your sweet words...the girls here on the farm mean everything to me...I could not have a sweeter bunch of friends...everyone has been so thoughtful...understanding and encouraging during this most difficult time...I am in the process of looking for me a sweet new bundle of fur...in particular an orange tabby:):):)I just love them...so many people have no love in their hearts for animals...how sad to have a heart like that...but I think God must love us so much to put such sweet little things in our world...my Sweet Kitty brought me so much joy...I think they know much more than what most people realize...I have many pictures and videos of him...one is especially dear to my heart...taken when he was very little:):):)I hope you have a wonderful day...please keep me in your prayers:)

I am just seeing now that your sweet little kitty passed away. I am sorry to hear of your loss. But what a blessed little kitty to have had you for his fur-mom. It is so hard to lose a fur-baby, and even though I have been through it so very much, it always breaks my heart. I know that there is a special place in Heaven for our pets. Thank you so much for thinking of me...and your kind words...I plan on getting another fur baby or two...too much love for sweet kitties not to share it...I have loved cats ever since I can remember...but never had one inside mainly because of allergies...but I weathered the allergy storm with my Sweet Kitty that I lost and I will weather it again with another fur baby...they are so sweet and loving...and so many of them don't have any home at all...so if I can make the difference in the life of one or two of them that is what I intend to do in memory of my Sweet Kitty:):):)

Thank you for your kind words, Judy. I
have never lived a day without a pet and
I've lost several. It hurts everytime, but the
love and memories of each one outweighs
my sadness. I know they are waiting for me
on the Rainbow Bridge. Each pet brings us
closer to understanding unconditional love.

Everyone has been so kind and caring to me through this most difficult time...words could never say how much I appreciate all the thoughtfulness you all have shown me...as I said before this was my first time having a fur baby inside...and it is so hard to deal with...the house is so empty and so quiet...but I thank God that he gave me two weeks to prepare for what was to come...it is amazing what a sweet little bundle of fur can teach us about life and love...please continue to pray for my family as we deal with the loss of our sweet Kitty...your prayers are so appreciated:)

Your kitty had a wonderful home and life with all the best of care. As humans, we just wish they could live longer but alas their lives are just way too short!

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY you lost your kitty! It's very difficult to lose a pet! And I will be praying for the Lord to fill your "kitty heart".
I'm still waiting for that as well, after my Skye disappeared on December 1st. SOOOOO HARD!

So sorry for your loss. It's never easy to lose a pet because they become our kids. I have had many dogs,horses and kitties pass on throughout my life and it breaks your heart every time. Prayers and sadness for my friend.

I am so sorry you lost your precious kitty. But he is in no more pain now. Give yourself some time to heal, then welcome a new kitty into your life. My brother's cat is sixteen or seventeen and not doing so well, and though he won't admit it, I know he'll be crying when Boots goes. You get so attached to your furbabies (and featherbabies). Sometimes they seem to understand you better than people. I know some kitty will consider himself very lucky to come into your home. (((Hugs)))

Once again Judy I am so sorry for your loss. You did everything possible and your kitty knows that you loved him dearly. I hope the good Lord sends you a special cat and I know he will when the time is right. I have 7 rescue cats and lost one and Willie was sent to us. Willie has really been special and a blessing as all our cats have been. In the meantime prayers for all of you. Take good care.
