UPDATE-----

Here is a link to a news report from Channel Six in Marquette, Mi.

http://www.uppermichiganssource.com/news/story.aspx?id=654914

Still no news-They dispatched two airplanes today to help search along an area called Torch Lake where they found the boat. It's now day three and it just does not look good. It's raining here right now and we are feeling pretty low. My MIL spent some time with Val's mother today and we are told she is bearing up. Just bad business all around. Thank you dear farmgirl sisters for your continued prayers. I will keep you posted when we hear anything further.

Oh Mel, I'm so sorry. My heart aches for your family. 6 weeks ago, we lost my FIL unexpectedly. It's a terrible shock. I will ne praying for your whole family. So glad to see she was saved, and serving the Lord. Please take comfort everyday in that. May God send peace and comfort to those left behind, missing her. (((Hugs)))

The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.

So sad. I've been thinking of her and your family all weekend. I'm sure her mother is just devastated. Such a rich life, such a dedicated soul--I hope she has finally found peace, Melody.

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

Oh Melody--I'm so sorry--I know the Torch Lake area so well, having gone to school at Interlochen and vacationing at Torch.
I just hope for the best--I'm sure everyone in the family is just on pins and needles and fears the worst. I'm thinking of all of you!
