Good Morning Farmgirls Sisters, I received an e-mail from Kristy written very early this morning saying she is very sick and requested prayer. She has been sick and doesn't think she ever got over the last "bug"! As you know she is a recent widow and alone. It is scary to be alone and sick and she misses her Dear Hubby so much. She needs healing and comfort, to feel many arms wrapped around her at this time.
Please lift our dear sister in prayer. She is going to the doctor early this morning.
She told me she tried to get on this forum early this morning to request prayer, but kept getting knocked off, so she e-mailed me for prayer. I'm taking the liberty to post this for my sweet sister.

Kristy~~glad to hear you're feeling a little better, just rest and enjoy the attention you're getting!! You go girl, you just girlie up any little nook or cranny in your farmhouse and you'll be amazed how much better you'll feel about things. I've done that here and there in the house and in our bedroom also, it just makes it "special, for you", and we need that in our lives!!

Kristy, I love your blog - especially your posts from yesterday about new beginnings - you go girl :)
It was go good talking to you a little while ago, you sound better, but not well. So glad you have your bedroom "girlified" how fun and uplifting for you. Thank your special "angels" for helping you with this, from me! I know first hand how much something like that can change your outlook on life!
Sorry your fibro is flaring up - not fun! Snuggle with those little furbabies and the big one too, you don't want to forget her. Boxers are neat doggies. They are all special in their own way with such distinct personalities. Speaking of which my three need some attention - so will run for now!

Oops ! My puppy walked across my laptop and sent that off before I was finished ! lol !
Debi... I too will work on another letter. I have much to share !! lol !! Zentangle is using repetitive patterns or Tangles to create unusual artwork. I will share more in my letter.HEHEHE !
Today has been a good day! My PCA (Personal Care Attendent because I have disablilitys) comes 2 days a week. Today she brought her Fiance,Joe, along and the moved my bedroom furniture around. I have not slept well in that room since my DH passed away in July. So.. rearranging and putting on new bedding . Putting more Girlie things makes it feel so awesome !! I am so happy with it. Now...next will be pulling things out so Joe can paint the room . I'm feeling blessed to have my PCA and other friends that are helping me bit by bit to make my ole farmhouse into my home. May sound odd to some, but I'm making a fresh start and want to make a haven for myself and my furbabies.
Today I am physically feeling better with the bug symptoms but I am starting into a fibromyalgia flair up. We have a big winter storm coming in and I predict it will be here in a few days ! Hummm... I could do better than our TV weathermen ! lol 1 So, I am taking my pain meds and being very relaxed shall I say ! lol ! Speaking of that I am beginning to feel them kick in so time to go cuddle with my furbabies.

Kris.. the afgan in the photo is one of many my Grandmother crochet. I love it too. I know I have seen a pattern for it somewhere but cant find the link. I know it starts as a granny square and the rose added on top.

How cute your fur babies are ~ hugs for you again today (Prayers too!) and finally, I hope to get a long letter off to you this weekend. I have been sharing your original letter ~ hope you don't mind and I keep getting asked what Tengling is. (I know I spelled it wrong... ) Do you have a generic description?

Aw, what little sweeties. I bet they keep you nice and warm. And I just love that afghan with the flowers in the background. Would love to see the whole thing. It's beautiful. Did you make that? I am so glad you are getting better, Kristy. Just rest now.

Aww... I have to have the best sisters in the world !! I am feeling better tonight. Although I have napped and I am up at 2 am still ! I am doing all I can to keep going. Just take it slow and easy and one day at a time. This cough won't go away ,but at least I am not coughing as badly when I lay down now. My furbabies must sense I am feeling better because I don't have the 3 little ones laying on or around me at all times. Lol ! I will post a pic of my babies.. just to make you laugh !! lol !! They are what keep me going. Thank you so much for your prayers and kind,caring messages. You will never know how much it truly means to me. Hugs and blessings all around....

Kristy, sure hope you're feeling better today.....seems like every time you do a little something, it poops you out, best thing to do is lay down and get tucked in and take a nap!! Like I said, sure do hope you're feeling better. wish I was closer, I'd be there for whatever you needed!!

Hi Kristy. How are you today? I hope you are able to just rest. Sounds like that's what you need the most right now. But those animals still need us to feed them, don't they? I always worry about them more when I don't feel well. But still have to get up and feed and milk the goats. I hope you have a nice restful day.

Thank you sisters !! I swear the bug this year is rough. About the time I think I am on the mend my feet get knocked out from under me. I had to get out on Sunday to get pet food and some more juice,soup and a few other things. Thank goodness my BFF was with me. I started sweating and feeling dizzy ! She leaned me on the cart and hurried me through the check out. She carried things in and put it all away for me. She wouldn't leave til I was back in my jammies,had a drink beside me and was tucked in with blankets on the sofa. God love her !! I was worn out and slept for about 4 hours. Woke up then because my boxer, Abby Rose, needed to go out. Lol !! I feel a bit better again tonight but going to just take it easy for a bit longer I guess . What else can you do ? Lol !! Again thank you so much Ruth/violetrose for posting this request my friend !! I am counting my blessings and I count each of you among my many blessings.

Kristy, I too am just reading this thread, and am so sorry I didn't see it before. I hope that you are on the mend now, and feeling better since going to the dr. It's hard to feel so crummy, and be alone at the same time. Then to have no water.....think you're being tested, and you passed!! So glad you have neighbors and good friends that helped you get through that. I am sorry New Years was so rough on you, I went to bed about 9:30 to avoid that very thing. Do take care of you my friend~~again, sorry I'm late with my well wishes!!

Hi Kristy, I'm so thankful you are feeling better and have water! Yea! Things we take for granted, like turning on the faucet and water coming out. I'm sure glad that is fixed for you and the fur babies.
I love the photo of your precious little granddaughter - she is sooo cute, I know you love here to pieces.
Keeping you in my prayers for a full, speedy recovery - please take good care of yourself! Wish I could bring you some soup, but then your neighbors took care of that - what a blessing! :)
