Good Morning Farmgirls Sisters, I received an e-mail from Kristy written very early this morning saying she is very sick and requested prayer. She has been sick and doesn't think she ever got over the last "bug"! As you know she is a recent widow and alone. It is scary to be alone and sick and she misses her Dear Hubby so much. She needs healing and comfort, to feel many arms wrapped around her at this time.
Please lift our dear sister in prayer. She is going to the doctor early this morning.
She told me she tried to get on this forum early this morning to request prayer, but kept getting knocked off, so she e-mailed me for prayer. I'm taking the liberty to post this for my sweet sister.

Hi, I just talked to Kristy on the phone, she doesn't have much of a voice, so we only talked a minute or two. She is on antibiotics for sinus infection and also has a flu bug! She woke up this morning to frozen water pipes to top everything else off! She has someone coming to hopefully fix that problem and someone has gone to get her some water for tea and juice.
Please keep her in your prayers!

Oh dear Violet thank you so much for posting this prayer and for talking with my on the phone today. I am so blessed by your kindness and encouragement!
Sisters...you are the best !! As Violet said I've been sick again..or still .Lol ! But I am beginning to feel better. My fever finally broke last night and I have not slept all day! Thank you for your prayers,hugs and loving arms of comfort. today I woke up to no water to take my meds. I called my BFF and she sent her hubby,also my friend, out to see what was going on. Well..the outside rural water meter was frozen up. He worked and packed in straw. It's a ways away from my ole farmhouse so he could not hook up a heater to it. So I called the RR district maintanence man and he was out as soon as he could get back home. The new meter they installed about a month ago was frozen and broke the regulator. I'm thankful he was so kind and came out to fix it for me on a holiday. I finally got water about 5pm tonight. Ahh... warm shower and fresh water for my furbabies and I. Really makes you realize what we are blessed to have and somehow take for granted.
New Years eve was rough without my DH. I cried my way out of 2010 and into 2011. I kissed his picture at the stroke of midnight. My kids both called shortly after and laughed at my Kermit the frog voice. I missed them so much but knew I couldnt be with them being so sick. I did get a picture that made me smile. It is of my beautiful little granddaughter, Trinity. I have to share it with you. She wore the little skirt I got for her and picked out her own clothes. She is 3 going on 13 ! lol !

Oh, Kristy - big hugs from my heart to yours. I hope you get better very soon. And I'm so sad that you had such a rough time last night. I can only imagine what you're going through. Kristy, I am so glad you are feeling better. And that you have water! That is the worst thing to not have water. I could do without electric but I have got to have water. I hope and pray you are on the mend and will be all over this really soon now.
