Some of you will remember me asking for postcards and prayers for one of our community's young girls that had been diagnosed with cancer. Sadly, sweet Delaney recently lost her fight.
Our little community paper had a lovely write-up about her, written by her Dad. I thought I would share a small part of it:
"All the support was deeply appreciated and it made an enormous difference for all of us throughout the process. Friends from around the country and even outside Canada sent postcards in support. This act alone...really underscored the size of the support network Delaney had in her corner".
So to all of you that took the time to send a card or postcard to Delaney, please know the difference you helped make by your act of kindness.
Bless you all, you are very special people.
Diane

Diane- What a sad loss! it is amazing to see that farmgirls have offered love and comfort to people they probably will never meet.

Diane:
I am so sorry for your loss. Such sad news, indeed. I will pray for her parents.
God Bless.

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
