What can you take to help curb cravings. All day today I've been eating bits of this and that and still am not satisfied. I dont' want to keep eating and snacking. Any suggestions?

Blessings....
Sarah

I have found that the busier I keep my hands and my mind the less hungry I am. But, when I can't stand it anymore, I keep cleaned carrot sticks and celery in the fridge. I also eat crackers. And pretzels are good, too. Susan

Sarah,

Just curious to know - did you eat a decent-sized breakfast (with some fiber) to get ahead of the all-day cravings? If you decided to skip breakfast, you may have set yourself up for the cravings to try to take over. Sometimes you can derail those carb cravings by feeding your body properly ahead of time....just a thought.

Finally I ate some carrots and that with some mint tea seemed to do the trick. I usually get these kind of cravings around ovulation time and right before my moon time but those should not either be happening right now. I thought I was gonna eat the house up! lol

write a letter, blog, sew, do a craft/surf the net/clean a closet/etc. Anything to occupy your hands and mind for a little bit. Sometimes we eat when we are: bored, stressed, upset, etc.

So if you can find something to occupy both your hands and mind go for it.

Suzi,

The water with lemon suggestion is a good one. How about some raw veggies like carrot or celery sticks? Going for a short walk when you get the munchies might be an option.

Chewing gum makes my jaws and teeth hurt so that isn't an option.
