Posted - Jun 09 2006 : 2:33:50 PM You can also use plaintain in cuts and for diaper rash and crade cap. Just smoosh it up really well in a mortar unti lyou have a good paste and apply it directly.
My friend's daughter has diabetes and she got a really bad cut that was cleaned right away and still got infected. She put mushed up plaintain in it and with in two days it was better. |

Posted - May 31 2006 : 11:52:09 AM Hi, Nicole, I googled it and came up with "plantago major" and botanical.com has lots of info on it. I have used this for years when I get a mosquito bite...it really works - just take a leaf and smoosh it up or hold it over a match for a few seconds and rub on the bite... and if you go to botanical.com, you'll see it looks kinda like a lily but it I don't think it's really in the Hosta family. Good luck! Judy
