Posted - Jan 21 2011 : 04:02:57 AM It's zero out right now. Wind chill of -19. I do hope this doesn't last. I can't handle it when it's this cold. Especially when I have to leave the house! Brrrr!!!

Posted - Jan 22 2011 : 12:52:01 AM When I dragged my husband out of the house this afternoon around 5pm the car told me it was -7...and I made him go to Wal Mart with me to get ice cream. Yup, -7 and I went to the store to get ice cream. Crazy, I know!

Posted - Jan 21 2011 : 2:44:38 PM Gail- I just noticed you are from Hutchinson MN---Goodness! My sister was married there.
What a nice little town!
Wicked cold this morning at 9-below...Mercifully no wind coming off the bay. Quite a few schools were closed in the surrounding area. Oh how I long for SPRING!

Posted - Jan 21 2011 : 05:51:14 AM West central Minnesota here - 22 below at 6 a.m., we are not suppose to get above zero today - fortunately there is no wind, so no awful wind chill to experience. Many schools delayed 2 hours and west of us many closed. Forecast is for gradual warm up and then yes, more snow! Have a great winter day ladies, mine includes coffee, using the oven and some crochet or cross stitch that I can do while snuggled in an afghan! Blessings on your day.
