The past few nights I have had the windows open. It was 59. So today they will stay open. The AC is off for now. I love it! This is my all time favorite time of year. But I sure hope it just gradually gets cooler. I don't want freezing temps yet. Not til Feb. please.

And there are leaves falling everywhere. My goats are lovin' that. My mom already had to rake hers yesterday.

Any other open windows out there yet?

Happy Fall, ya'll!

We keep one window open in our upstairs t.v. room...it gets hot in there with all the components, but we have had a stormy deluge and can't leave the rest open anymore. Fortunately, this is the first year I haven't had the heat full on and it's mid november! YAY!

The rain has come. I was outside earlier doing animal stuff and it was sprinkling. So for the next few days we will be rainy. I have enough hay to last til next week so I am good.

And the windows are shut for awhile now. It's really now supposed to be very cold. I am happy about that. I won't have to have the heat on too much.

Yesterday and today and the rest of the week is just about warm enough to open windows again here. It's in the 70's!! I am loving this. It's beautiful. I know some of you are getting snow already. I am so glad it's not here. I am enjoying this weather. I'm going to get hay in a little while while it's so nice out. I hope everyone's having as good a day as I am.

Oh my goodness, I am loving this weather right now! It's been in the high 70's the last few weeks. My windows are opened again during the day. It does get cold at night. Rain tomorrow, which we desperately need. But all in all, I am not complaining. I have not had the heat on yet. I will wait til it starts to be really freezing cold.

I hope everyone has a great week.

Tina, you will be a busy lady for sure. You won't have time to do anything else at all probably. You'll need a vacation when you get back!

It's hot, ya'll. It was about 83 yesterday. I am NOT complaining at all. I am ok with this. Windows are still open.

We leave on the 23r and come back on the 30th. We were told to expect to see around 500 patients a day. I am already tired just thinking about it.lol

Tina, I hope you have a safe trip to Haiti. I bet it's very humid there. How long will you be staying? And what will you be doing there? Inquiring minds want to know!

Sandra, chains rattling at night would really be scary! I have dogs outside too and they bark at anything. They have been pretty good but this morning Bubba kept barking. I don't even look most of the time. I know their barks. He's usually barking at other dogs barking.

Tina, you are too funny! My hubby's the same way. I could be up and dressed and have a burglar shot before he's even roll over! Men! They think they are so bad. Hah!

Susan, it's hard to believe some people are getting frosts already. It is chilly here but no frost so far.

I had the windows open today for awhile but had to shut them. It's really cool. I am cold. But it's nice. I am drying apples in the dehydrator right now and the house smells like cinnamon. I love that. I canned pears yesterday. I love this time.

I hope ya'll stay warm!

Well....I've had the AC off for about a week and this morning I had to turn on the heat! I tried not too but I am getting older and have RA so my joints don't need to get chilled! LOL! But it will warm up later...it was 38 outside when I got up at 6:30 this morning but supposed to be in the 60's later and 70's later this week. I LOVE this time of year and I have the windows open until bedtime usually but have to close them because I have those vertical blinds and the chains rattle if there's a breeze and it wakes me up. I have to replace them but also my animals hear too many other animals at night around here and are constantly "alerting" me if I leave the windows open at night.

The windows are shut. We had our first fall frost last night. It was heavy on the windshield and roof of the pickup in the yard, but the garden managed to escape. We've had a good season but the freezer is about full and I'm tired, no dashing out to cover plants for us this fall!

Kris~ Boo! I love scary movies. When they get to scary I mute it. It doesn't seem so scary when I can't heard the music.lol I also lock all windows and doors and have nightlights (plural) on. My husband just laughs and says I am hear what are you afraid of! Well..... It can come up a huge storm and the great protector snores right through it. So thats why I lock everything. Is it chilly up there tonight? It felt great today. Worked outside all afternoon. Miss talking to you.

Blessings,
