Posted - Feb 08 2009 : 08:07:34 AM The weather report on the sorta local news said fog and then rain this afternoon. Well it is the Seattle News and I do live about 50 miles NE up in the hills---so it could be a bit different. Two pictures of the sunrise this morning. 7:15AM. Notice the fog and low clouds in the valley. I took these are from my deck. MB

Posted - Feb 08 2009 : 08:50:37 AM Cheryl - I didn't know you had lived in that area - I grew up in Seattle, then Redmond. My dad lived in Kirkland from when he was born till he married mom, I have family all over that area - my great-uncle owned a sawmill in Preston. Things have changed so much in that area but it still feels like home - we were just there on Monday and there was a very high overcast so you could see the Olympics, the Cascades and Mt Rainier - like a gift to the soul:) Amy Grace
