Posted - Aug 09 2013 : 4:28:38 PM It's great to be part of this community! We lived in a very rural part of Ohio for 26 years on 5 acres. A job change uprooted us and we found ourselves in the suburbs in a subdivision but oh so much closer to our three grandkiddos. Luckily country doesn't wash off and we brought with us the country experiences and values we gained those 26 years. My motto is restore, repurpose and recycle. I love painting old furniture. We have three fur-ever babies adopted from a local shelter. I love Maryjanes Farm Magazine and I look forward to being in the Farmgirl Connection |

The road to success is not straight. There is a curb called Failure, a loop called Confusion; speed bumps called Friends; red lights called Enemies;caution lights called Family. You will have flats called jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination; an engine called Perseverance; insurance called Faith, and a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success!! |

Posted - Aug 17 2013 : 07:38:21 AM Welcome Annie, I love when people repaint furniture. I am an Artist too. I decoupage old magazine from 1940 - 1960 on old stuff that I find a estate & yard sale in fact I'm leaving now to go get the newspaper & see what treasures I might find today. If there is nothing I may go peach picking and make a peach pie & some peach jam.
