It's great to be part of this community! We lived in a very rural part of Ohio for 26 years on 5 acres. A job change uprooted us and we found ourselves in the suburbs in a subdivision but oh so much closer to our three grandkiddos. Luckily country doesn't wash off and we brought with us the country experiences and values we gained those 26 years. My motto is restore, repurpose and recycle. I love painting old furniture. We have three fur-ever babies adopted from a local shelter.
I love Maryjanes Farm Magazine and I look forward to being in the Farmgirl Connection

Hi Annie and welcome to Mary Jane's Farm from a Wisconsin gal! Isn't her magazine just the greatest? I've learned so much here during my years on this site. So many women here who love sharing their experiences and I'm sure you'll have fun sharing yours. I'm a mother to 2 grown sons and one 4 yr old grandson I dote on. Also an animal lover with 1 dog and 2 cats and a wonderful hubby. Nice to meet you and hope you have a great deal of fun here!

Hi Annie! (that's my granddaughters name too)
A warm welcome from NJ. I am sure you will enjoy it here. So much to do and learn and share.
It does not matter where you live. Being a farm girl is a state of the mind and heart I believe.
Just join right in and have fun.

Welcome Annie,
You will be amazed at what goes on with all of us Farms Sisters. We have so much fun. I catch up on my MJF chats before I read my newspaper each morning.

Welcome to the Farm, Annie! You aren't too far from my mother in law up there in Grove City. Whenever we go up to see her, we go to Grove City for the arts festival. Such fun!
Hope you will have a blast here with us!

Welcome Annie, I love when people repaint furniture. I am an Artist too. I decoupage old magazine from 1940 - 1960 on old stuff that I find a estate & yard sale in fact I'm leaving now to go get the newspaper & see what treasures I might find today. If there is nothing I may go peach picking and make a peach pie & some peach jam.

Hi Annie! Welcome to Mjf Looks like we are neighbors! We should get together sometime. If you are interested email me or post here and I will email you.

Would love to meet up with a like minded farmgirl. We are kinda hard to find in the Col. Area.

Theresa

The road to success is not straight. There is a curb called Failure, a loop called Confusion; speed bumps called Friends; red lights called Enemies;caution lights called Family. You will have flats called jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination; an engine called Perseverance; insurance called Faith, and a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success!!

Hello Annie! Let me chime in here and welcome you to a great group of folks. I am about an hour from Grove City, and would love to arrange a meet and greet with some of the other farmgirls in the central Ohio area. Let's do it--next steps: location, time, and date!

Cheers!
