Posted - Jun 09 2006 : 3:11:56 PM Hi all! I am Tasha (my dad named me after Tasha Tudor). I am 26, mama to two beautiful daughters Grace, 4yo, and Zoe 7mo. I am the blessed wife of Rob, my love for 13 of my 26 years. We have a little hobby farm in Northern Minnesota. We are growing organically and selling at a local farmer's market, I bake as well and sell my breads. I sew...LOVE TO SEW...mostly hippie type clothing, aprons and baby carriers. I am working at getting clot dolls under my belt. We are AP Heathen parents, we don't vaxx, we un-school, we try to live as naturally as we can. We are soon getting chickens form a friend/breeder as well as goats we are trading her for. We have only been here just over a year, so we are still working at getting things operational. I grew up on a farm here in Minnesota and my husband spent a lot of time on his uncle's growing up. I have posted a few times already, but I thought maybe I should post an intro!
Blessings to you all!! Tasha |

The goats we are getting are essentially three breeds...Alpine, Nigerian, Sanaan, Alpine/Nigerian Cross, Sanaan/Nigerian Cross. YAY! I remembered all that!!! WOOT!
I cannot remember the chickens...I know black silkie bantams for sure. My daughter had some, she got them forher birthday, but the coop got raided by a racoon :( We aren't quite sure how as my husband made it well fortified. The other chickens are Golden somethings
We do sell stuff. I am getting a wedsite worked on, but I will post things from time to time that I create :D I am mostly working on getting my inventory built up for the few flea markets and festivals we will be attending aside from our weekly farmers market (my Grace calls it the fleamer market because its a farmers market and a flea market, really. Too cute.)
Thanks for the great welcome!

Hey Farm Girls!!!
Hi Tasha Welcome. What does "AP Heathen" parents mean? I have quite a few friends here in Texas who "unschool." I think that it is great. Your lifestyle sounds wonderful.
I love Minnesota. I was raised in Northern Illinois/Wisconsin and visited family in Minnesota. I am also of Swedish heritage.

AP parenting is attachment parenting....um....co-sleeping, no spanking, BFing, baby wearing, natural birthing (incidentally, we had our 7 mo here at home unassisted...) that kind of stuff.....
