I am Terri, mom to 6yr old, and wife for 17 years. I have always been a farmgirl.
We live in Northern California. I look forward to the day we own our own land, and have chickens and cows (or goats) running around........someday.

Hubby is a carpenter and in his spare time likes to build children's wooden toys. I have just found my new calling.....soap making! I am addicted. Now I have to figure out what to do with all the soap.....LOL (good thing Christmas is coming up!) I am also room mom for my daughter class.

I am in a little town called Biggs. It looks like you are close to my husbands family......they are in Westwood, Chester.

We are originally from Sonoma County (Sebastopol to be exact) and are recent transplants to the Valley.

Hi Terri,

I am new to this as of two days ago! We used to live (for nine years) in Santa Cruz (I had three of my children there). Soapmaking--fun! Do you make it with vegetable oils or with lard? I have done both. The lard one is definitely richer. I have a lemon verbena plant (I think it will grow year round for you outdoors) and used that to add fragrance. Mmmmmm! Let me know the kinds you are making.

From Vermont,

Welcome Terri from Missouri! Glad to have you here with us! Soapmaking is certainly fun isn't it?
