Posted - Jun 06 2008 : 11:28:42 AM I'm not really a farmer right now. I just miss being a farmgirl when I was a kid. I grew up on one (we had cows and a big bull, some pigs, and lots of chickens, etc. My daughter has a mini-farm, so I go to her house and drool about it. I can hardly wait to meet all of you. |

Posted - Jun 06 2008 : 12:20:52 PM Welcome Jan. I lived on a farm until I was 5, but was always associated with a farm. My parents would help their parents on the farm in the afternoons and on Saturdays. When I married, we bought my husband's grandmother's farm and moved in. We have been here going on 39 years. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Hope you love this site as much as I do. There are some great people with mounds of time/tested advice. Just ask!!!
