Posted - Sep 24 2005 : 2:47:05 PM Hi! This is my first posting. I grew up on a farm, moved into the suburbs, lived there for years, and finally managed to return to the country in 1993. We (my husband and I) have 40 acres in northern Alabama (Blount County). The land is hilly, rocky, and forested. I garden, read, paint, write, adopt stray dogs, and work a part-time job two days a week. I look forward to meeting other farmgirls at heart and getting to know some of you. |
