Posted - Sep 07 2005 : 1:38:46 PM I am new to the Farmgirl connection. This past Monday I wanted to kill some time while my son had football practice so I sat down in a Barnes & Noble and picked up MaryJanes book. I was immediately intrigued. My husband and I have changed our eating lifestyle to organic this past February and I am always looking for new recipes and ingredients. I owned a farm for 10 years and miss it desperately, though I do have a nice small garden this year. As a mom of 4 and working full time it has been tough. I yearn for the peacefulness of the country.I would like some ideas on turning a small garden and private yard into a piece of the farm I remember- any ideas? |
