Posted - Aug 23 2005 : 12:43:32 PM Hi everyone. I just love your book I can sit and read it over and over again for hours. I live in the city but I'm a country girl at heart. I love doing all the old fashion things, quilting, cooking from scratch, making primitive dolls and too many other things to write down. I have a rose garden and an herb garden that I love to work in and I like to make herbal crafts when the time permits. Bluelavender45 |

Posted - Aug 24 2005 : 09:07:48 AM Hi my fellow Texans, I don't live out in the country but my in-laws do. My in-laws have a couple of cows, geese, chickens and of course cats. They also grow tomtoes, corn, watermelons, peppers and have a couple of orange trees. That's how I was introduced to the country life. My FIL is now 90 and he still loves working with the animals and loves doing everything the old fashion way. Bluelavender
