Posted - Nov 05 2007 : 11:04:34 AM I found this site last week and I'm so excited about meeting all of you!
I'm 30 and live on a small family farm with my husband, our two daughters and we just found out Saturday that there is one on the way!
I grew up the grandaughter of a peanut farmer (on one side) and a John Deere mechanic (on the other)and my dad worked in chemical sales for years and years. In high school, I scouted cotton and took soil samples for one of the local fertilizer companies.
We farm about 600 acres (soybeans, peanuts, corn and cotton)- my husband and his dad do the majority of the work but I help out when I can. I have a daycare at our farmhouse and stay busy with that.
Here are some pictures from our farm so that y'all can know me better!
