Posted - Jun 06 2008 : 7:12:50 PM How about this. What if we post here our chapter name and location - and add active or inactive... we will at least know which chapters are active on the blog... It may also be a fun way of letting us farmgirls connect with other chapters in our area - to share resources and plan get togethers.....
I will start.... I am Prosserfarmgirl - we have a new chapter in Prosser WA. We are planning a great summer of activities starting with a meet and greet to get our local gals introduced to each other.. Our chapter is known as "prosserfarmchicks".

Posted - Jun 15 2008 : 12:33:46 PM Renee, I dont know how few and far between, as I seem to be running into them everywhere.. or they flag me down if they see the bumper stickers... but I think it is girfriends getting together.... I got brave and did a "round up"... just invited gals in the area to come and be a part.. and the response was overwhelming....And I was afraid that I would be "responsible" for all these gals, but so many have stepped forward to offer a hand and it is just so great... I would encourage you to start a chapter.. you wont regret it...Until then, just keep chatting ... we'll keep you connected!

Posted - Jun 15 2008 : 11:37:55 AM This is a great topic to start and keep active. Good idea René!
I am e-mailing the two chapters listed near me and giving them another week to contact me back, but I'm not holding my breath.
However, I may be starting my own chapter in the Fall. . . we'll see. I keep laying down for 20 minutes, but the idea is still there.
I've kinda got the impression MJ Farmgirls are fewer and farther apart than I suspected, or maybe it's a regional "thing" as to the truth of that.
