I dont use my glass wggs under the hens, they are in a safe place in one of my antique cabinets. You can get plastic one to use under the hens, at feed stores.

Thanks Frannie, will look into that, there were a lot of them around when I was little, so they must be someplace.

They look like chicken eggs but are made of glass, they used to put them in the nests in the chicken coops to encourage the hens to lay.At least I think thats right. they are solid glass, and I think they even came in a few light colors?
